Discussion will include stories, experiences, and insights from a different perspective. Caregivers and advocates usually live outside long-term care facilities but that's not always the case. These ladies will also talk about challenges they've faced and best practices nursing homes can implement to support diverse families.
Cindy Napolitan is a fierce advocate that we are truly fortunate to have as a long-term care rights warrior working as an integral part of Texas Caregivers for Compromise. She's intuitive and well-spoken and gives a critical view of the needs and experiences of residents from their own perspective. She advocates at the local, state, and federal level and is an active participant in Consumer Voice’s Consumer Advisory Council.
